COVID-19 : Update 25 March

25 March 2020 – Lazy Days VW Campers temporarily closed until 30 April.

Given the continued spread of the Covid-19 virus in our communities we have temporarily closed our camper hire business until the 30th of April in order to comply with our government’s announcement on the 24th March that there should be “no unnecessary travel now or over the Easter break”.

Despite the challenges this presents, we welcome this closure as a necessary measure to protect our customers and the wider community. We will continue to review and adhere to government guidelines as they evolve.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we manage this situation. If you have a booking with us in the coming weeks and months please rest assured that you have options. We will be in contact with each of our customers individually by email. We are working as quickly as possible to support our customers chronologically in order of pick up date. Please be assured that we are here to help.

We thank you for your patience and support during these challenging times.

Bookings due to commence in March & April

If you have either a provisional or confirmed booking with us between now and the end of April, we will be in contact with you imminently to discuss your options. We are working through bookings chronologically. There is no need to call us, we will contact you to rearrange your booking.

Bookings in May

We cannot predict what is going to happen in May. We will continue to follow government advice and will communicate any changes here and by email as soon as the situation becomes clear. If you have a booking in May please rest assured that you will have options if the situation changes. We have waived our normal cancellation fees and terms to offer you one of the following actions in advance of your hire date:

  • Reschedule your hire dates to a future date. If there is a price difference, it will apply.
  •  If you are unsure of new travel dates you can convert your booking payment to a Travel Voucher with no expiry date. This puts your booking on hold indefinitely.

Otherwise our normal cancellation policy as per our Terms & Conditions will apply.

Please rest assured that our COVID-19 policies are in line with the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other government agencies.
