6 June 2020 – Lazy Days VW Campers remains closed until 29 June.

Domestic Tourism

Lazy Days will reopen on the 29 June for domestic tourism.

On Friday 5 June our government announced a new accelerated Roadmap for Reopening Society & Business.
The roadmap can be read in full here. This will be subject to regular review with the potential reintroduction of restrictions if there is a rise in infection levels. The roadmap sets out Ireland’s plan for lifting COVID-19 restrictions on:

Phases 3-5 of Ireland’s roadmap are currently being looked at with the intention of compressing them into 2 more phases rather than the 3 phases that were originally planned. More information will come shortly.

International Tourism

Lazy Days will reopen on the 1 September for international tourism – this is subject to change.

On the 5 June the Irish government alluded to a changes in the restrictions around international travel. Until these policies have been released officially we will remain closed for international bookings until the 1 September.

The current regulations state that all non-essential travel, including travel overseas, should be avoided.

For this reason Lazy Days will not be accepting bookings from international tourists for dates before the 1 September, i.e.: after the final phase of our roadmap from the 10 – 31 August has completed successfully. We may revise these dates as things become clearer.

Has your booking been effected?

If you are travelling internationally and you have a booking with us before the 1 September, we will be in contact with you to discuss your options.

Please rest assured that you have options. We have waived our normal cancellation fees and terms to offer you one of the following actions in advance of your hire date:

  • Reschedule your hire dates to a future date. If there is a price difference, it will apply.
  •  If you are unsure of new travel dates you can convert your booking payment to a Travel Voucher with no expiry date.

Otherwise our normal cancellation policy as per our Terms & Conditions will apply.
