Can we pay a CDW or reduce the insurance excess?

Lazy Days’ insurance excess is €1,600.
In the event of any damage to the vehicle or third party the Hirer will be responsible for the insurance excess of €1600 per case not rental.
The Hirer may elect to reduce the insurance excess to €1000 by paying €10/day up to a maximum of €250.
It may be possible to arrange independent Excess Insurance. Alternatively your credit card company may offer travel insurance that would cover the insurance excess.
