Sue and Pat,
Thank you so much for allowing us to have the most fun and memorable trip to Ireland. Sarah and I have both never been to the Emerald Isle, so we figured, what better way to explore the island. From the very beginning, Sue was patient, kind, and accommodating to our many questions. We arrived in Wicklow via train and Sue was right there to pick us up. After we arrived at Lazy Days HQ, Sue gave us a van tutorial and a general lay of the land with a few of her special recommendations on what to see. Then we were off. In 10 days with the van, we were able to make a clockwise loop through the towns of Cork, Portmagee, Dingle, Doolin, Letterfrack, Donegal, Bushmills, Belfast and Dublin. Between all of these towns we were able to hike 10 miles on the Kerry Way while driving the Ring of Kerry, hike up and run down the Gap of Dunloe, hike to the very tip of the Cliffs of Moher, climb to the peak of Diamond Hill in Connemara National Park, explore the grounds of Kylemore Abbey, spend a windy and daring night atop Slieve League (not recommended), and explore the historic Bushmills Whiskey Distillery. Did I mention we also got engaged while atop the Cliffs of Moher? That was pretty cool too 😉 There are many towns and random roads we explored along the way, yet too many to name or I’d be typing all day. Without the van, there’s no possible way we would have been able to make this journey happen. We wild camped, and we stayed at designated campsite…although we did more of the prior. It is simple to say that Lazy Days is the best way to go when making a visit to Ireland. Hands down it was a 5 Star experience. If and when we go back for another visit, Sue and Pat will most certainly have our business again. Happy traveling!!
Thanks again for playing a very special part in our lives.
