COVID-19 UPDATE

Domestic Tourism

Lazy Days is closed for domestic tourism until the 4th January 2021.

On the 27th November the Irish government announced that, from the 1st December all counties in the Republic of Ireland  will move to Level 3 with a further easing of restrictions on the 18 December under the Plan for Living with COVID-19. The latest information can be accessed on the gov.ie website here.

Lazy Days is closed for the Christmas period from the 18th December until the 4th January. Consequently, we are now closed for all hires until the new year. We will reopen from the 4th January if government restrictions allow.

International Tourism

The current government regulations state that all non-essential travel, including travel overseas, should be avoided. The government regulations for international travel can be read here.

Ireland is implementing the new EU ‘traffic lights’ approach to travel, which applies to countries in the EU / EEA (+ UK) only. In line with the EU traffic lights approach, the request to restrict movements does not apply to travellers from green regions, or those arriving from Northern Ireland.

Currently, all passengers entering Ireland from orange, red, and grey regions or areas outside the EU ‘traffic lights’ system are requested to restrict their movements for 14 days. These travellers entering Ireland by air or sea are required to:

If you have a booking with us and your hire has been affected we will be in contact to discuss your options.

Please rest assured that you do have options. We have waived our normal cancellation fees and terms to offer you one of the following actions in advance of your hire date:

  • Reschedule your hire dates to a future date. If there is a price difference, it will apply.
  •  If you are unsure of new travel dates you can convert your booking payment to a Travel Voucher with no expiry date.

Otherwise our normal cancellation policy as per our Terms & Conditions will apply.
