Dear Lazy Days,
Our vacation has been a fantastic experience, and it wouldn’t have been so wonderful without your advice and kind assistance. We feel we have been extremely lucky to find Lazy Days and renting Dakar was a real pleasure and the perfect solution for the kind of trip we were looking for. We are extremely grateful for everything you did for us.
We’d like to recommend Rainbow Hostel & Camping in Dingle Town to any traveler that plans to stop around there: it’s very cozy, it’s one of the few camping sites open in the off season and the owner (lovely person) let us in without any booking.
We also found some beautiful wild camping spots all around the Black Valley (THANK YOU for telling us about that place!).
For anyone around Wicklow: search “Lough Tay viewpoint” in Google Maps to find a few car parks with a wonderful view along the road, however it’s not recommended to leave the camper unattended there.
We slept in a beautiful spot beside the beach in the Ring of Skellig (51.846477, -10.336350 on Google Maps) and we found out that it’s possible to camp on top of the Cliffs of Kerry (https://goo.gl/maps/zPpT2S8QpwR2) by asking at the reception: the entrance is 4€ and its open 9-19, however we don’t know about any extra charging for spending the night there.
We had the time of our lives in Ireland and we fell in love with your country. If we ever come back we will be surely drive one of your vans!
