
Things are hotting up in Wicklow and Ireland’s Ancient East for Halloween with so many things to do. Our local campsite River Valley is open until the 1 November, so there is no better time to explore Wicklow in a cosy heated Lazy Days camper. Here are some of our favorite Halloween events:
Spooky Goings on @ Wicklow Gaol

Day of the Dead Festival @ Glendalough

This is the second Halloween incarnation of the sell-out Day Of The Dead Festival at Glendalough. A blend of music, fancy-dress, art, community, cuisine, BYOB, bars and all the mystery and adventure that Halloween conjures up. Experience a full line-up of local and international artists and performers in an interactive and immersive landscape envisioned by some of the country’s most creative artists. Day Of The Dead attracts madmen, mystics, wizards, goths, gods, goddesses, and music lovers alike.
Pumpkin carving for Kids @ Powerscourt Garden Pavilion

Kids will love the chance to prepare, design and carve a pumpkin into something festive and fun at this family-friendly event! All little goblins and ghouls are welcome to dress up in their Halloween finery and get into the festive spirit.
Monster Mash @ Hidden Valley Holiday Park

The ‘Monster Mash’ is a family fun weekend full of excitement, costumes, treats, games and very spooky goings-on including Trick-or-Treating / Best Costume Award for both adults and children / Spooky story telling / Haunted games and challenges / Surprise Special effects!
