Hannes & Jenny’s Anniversary Trip on the Wild Atlantic Way

Hannes & Jenny’s Anniversary Trip on the Wild Atlantic Way

Dear Sue & Pat,

We don’t want forget to thank you guys for being so kind and helpful and for making those days possible.

That were the laziest and most beautiful days we could imagine and we really fell in love with traveling by a camper van like Tonka.

Different than planned we decided to follow the sun along the West Atlantic Way from Galway (where we spent the first night) to the South of Ireland. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, passed Kilkee and Kilrush to take the ferry to Tarbert and went through Tralee to the beautiful Rossbeigh Beach (Ring of Kerry) where we spent the second night. That place was quite awesome as we were almost by ourselves with the waves and the beautiful landscape around that place.

On June 18th we celebrated our first wedding anniversary by a lovely breakfast at Rossbeigh Beach, went to the Killarney Nationalpark for a Jaunting Car Ride and went straight forward to the breathtaking Wicklow Mountains where we tried to find a nice place to stay for the last night. Unfortunately it wasn’t that easy to find a place for wild camping and we decided to go to Wolohan’s Silver Strand Caravan & Camping Park where we felt very welcome although we arrived pretty late. We could have our little BBQ and were more than happy to find that beautiful place and overwhelming beach.

As you can imagine, we are in love with Ireland and will definitely come back to see more of that wonderful island.

Thanks for everything!

All the best,

Hannes & Jenny
