The summer is definitely over but we are still busy at Lazy Days with bookings pouring in for dates well into autumn and beyond. What a great season we’ve had so far! We have sent lots of happy customers out exploring our beautiful country and attractions and we look forward to facilitating many more camper trips this season. Bandit & Spike – our latest and greatest T5 VW Campers!
2017 saw the start of a new chapter at Lazy Days as our first season without any vintage VW Campers. Those of you who knew us pre-2017 will know that we had a fleet of 10 vintage VW campers…but that’s another story! We LOVE our gorgeous new T5 campers. They all have bags of character and boast top-notch camping conversions, they are warm, reliable, economical and easy to drive, ideal for trouble free touring and camping in comfort. The latest additions to the fleet this year are Bandit and Spike pictured above, both long-wheel base 4-berth campers fully equipped and heated for camping in style and comfort. They have been turning lots of heads this summer.
Surfing News
We were thrilled to be featured in Carve Surf Camper Guide 2017 as a great way to explore the world class surf spots to be found along the Wild Atlantic Way. Our surf-ready campers Big Blue, Bandit & Spike come with heating, Sat Navs & all essential roof-bars… all you need is your surf board and wet-suit. We look forward to welcoming surfers right through the colder months from November to March when the surf is at it’s best in Ireland.
Autumn Getaways
We are looking forward to a great autumn season full of weekend getaways and longer adventures. Our warm heated T5 campers make travel possible well into October and November. There is so much to do here in Wicklow at the heart of Irelands Ancient East, see our short piece on Lazy Days Autumn Getaways in Wicklow. Northern Ireland is also popular for shorter breaks and the Wild Atlantic Way is only a little further down the road…
KILIG Films presents Lazy Days
We have been privileged to work with the very talented Film company KILIG Productions. Helen & Simon from KILIG spent some time in August meandering around Wicklow to produce two short promotional videos for Lazy Days. You can watch the first installment here, the second is still being edited but we cannot wait to see the finished article!!
